Haygrove Student wins National John Betjeman Poetry Society Award
Emily Cooper, 9L, has wowed the judges of the National John Betjeman Poetry Society with her beautiful poem 'The Eiffel Tower'.
Her carefully crafted verses won the first prize in the whole competition and she will receive £500 in prize money and tickets for the Eurostar too!
Clearly an extremely talented young poet, Emily shows the exciting results that can be achieved through creative writing!
Emily commented, 'I was really shocked and couldn't quite believe it, I was over the moon.'
